Caso contrário estará a comprar uma casa com divisões a mais e que representa um encargo muito elevado. Corre-se o risco de ficar escravo da casa". E adianta: "A casa é um instrumento que deve estar ao nosso serviço e não o contrário". Outro factor a ter em conta é o potencial de valorização de uma casa. Embora o responsável da Remax acredite que de uma forma em geral os preços de todo o imobiliário comecem a subir a partir de 2011, há imóveis que valorizam mais do que outros. A localização, a tipologia e os acabamentos são os três grandes factores que pesam na avaliação de um imóvel. Escolhida a casa é altura de dar início a um conjunto de formalidades que vão desde a assinatura de um contrato de promessa de compra e venda, passando pelo pedido dos registos provisórios, pelo pagamento dos impostos até à celebração da escritura. E neste campo, há também mecanismos que poderão facilitar a sua vida. O programa ‘Casa Pronta' permite centralizar todo o processo de compra e venda de uma casa numa única entidade. Contas feitas, e segundo dados de uma simulação feita no ano passado, a adesão ao programa casa pronta permite uma poupança de quase 150 euros com os custos processuais, face à via tradicional. No entanto, apesar do processo ser mais rápido, ele implica que os consumidores façam o trabalho de casa.
